A guide to giving well

A Caribbean gift guide

Not souvenirs — sayings. Every gift idea here starts with something a Caribbean grandmother, fisherman or market woman actually says, explained properly, in the voice of the island it comes from. This is meaningful memorabilia, not decoration: a gift that tells a story, from a hand-numbered limited first edition. Pick the angle that fits who you're shopping for.

Founding Edition copies are hand-numbered, part of a first run of only 500 that is never reprinted. Reservations close 1 November 2026.

Why sayings make good gifts

A saying said the way a family actually says it, explained properly, travels further than a souvenir ever does — it says I remember where you're from rather than I visited once. Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and Haiti are each kept in their own voice for exactly that reason: the gift should sound like the person it's for, not like "the Caribbean" in general.
